Congratulations to Margo and Grant! Baby Girl Compton (yet to be named) was born 5 weeks early yesterday. She was 4 lbs, 12 oz and 17 3/4 in long. She's doing well. She'll be in the NICU for awhile, but hopefully not all the way to her due date of February 27. Margo's water broke when she got up for work yesterday morning, she arrived at the hospital at 7:45. When I talked to her at about 9:00 she was dilated 1 cm. By 11:15 she had dilated to 10 cm. She pushed through 3 contractions and at 11:52 the baby girl arrived! She was obviously very eager to meet her mommy and daddy. Here are some pictures I took yesterday.
